Investments during the Corona Virus pandemic in automation and technology have accelerated in part to reduce the number of staff on site. These upgrades in technology and automation have also been in response to growing pressure from investors to reduce carbon emissions and meet certain climate change and carbon emissions targets. The upgrades in technology and automation have not been geographically isolated but is said to be a worldwide trend in the mining industry. \r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n\r\n
