Rio Tinto\u2019s share price rises more than two-thirds over the past 12-month period despite its various challenges of 2020. Both strong iron ore and copper prices continue to propel the group\u2019s earnings higher, with a new record price hit. Aluminium boss Alf Barrios, who was promoted to chief commercial officer following new boss Jakob Stausholm\u2019s arrival, sold \u00a34.9m in Rio shares last week. Rio refused to comment on the sale. <\/p>\n\n\n
