In an attempt to ease its energy crisis, China plans to cap the price of coal. China plans to cap the price of coal at which miners may sell coal for, which is scheduled to last until May 2022. It is reported that the current energy crisis that China is currently facing is said to be in part due to skyrocketing coal prices which has resulted in coal-fired power plants to run at a loss. China aims to cap the price of coal at 440 yuan per ton with an absolute ceiling price at 528 yuan including tax. <\/p>\n\n
