According to a report by PwC titled \u201cMine 2023: The era of reinvention\u201d, a tech skills shortage has prompted concerns among two-thirds of mining CEOs, who believe this could adversely affect the industry\u2019s profitability over the next decade. The study also reveals that 41% of surveyed CEOs are sceptical about their companies\u2019 economic sustainability if current business models persist. Notably, the report identifies tech talent recruitment as the major barrier for mining companies to adopt new technology. To counter these challenges, PwC suggests that mining companies facilitate a more inclusive work environment to attract talent.<\/p>\n
