China\u2019s import from Myanmar falls amid unrest<\/h1>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<\/div>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row admin_label=”Text” _builder_version=”4.9.1″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.9.0″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.9.1″ _module_preset=”default”]

According to customs data, China\u2019s imports of copper metal and tin ore from Myanmar fell more than 25% year-on-year in January and February of 2021 due to the unrest. Myanmar accounts for more than 95% of China\u2019s imports of tin concentrate. According to the International Tin Association, only around 20% of the supply of tin ore has been affected since such supply was isolated from the unrest.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
