Oz Minerals, a mining company listed on the ASX has launched an initiative to explore ways to better manage mining waste. The ultimate goal is to create increased value from mining waste while reducing the industry\u2019s overall environmental footprint. Oz Minerals have partnered with mining company Amira Global, Unearthed Solutions, and the International Copper Association Australia to establish the Waste to Value Crowd Challenge. The aim of the collaboration is to explore ways to minimise the production of waste while trying to unlock value that may lie within the waste that is produced. <\/p>\n\n
