China repurpsoies infrastructure loans with Bangladesh
According to the Financial Times, China’s embassy to Bangladesh wrote to the local authority of Bangladesh informing that China would not consider further projects with high pollution and high energy consumption, such as coal mining and coal-fired power stations. It could be regarded as an indication on China’s promises of a green belt and road initiative.
