审查生产性能的收购
矿业生产审查需要由多人组成多学科团队进行。该技术团队将将会包括地质、采矿、冶金及环保等方面的学科专家。另外还特别需要公司法律团队就矿业经营方面的所有合同予以审查，包括但不限于许可、销售或对冲合同及工会与雇员合同。
尽职调查团队必须进行现场调查以评估将要收购的资产，有形资产及该不动产的运营人员的当前状况。尽职调查团队聚焦的主要方面是该矿区的现有储备，任何能够立即降低成本或提高采收率的改进方式及审查在附近矿区扩大储备勘探的可能。采矿设施及设备必须经过评估及估价，并作为尽职调查过程的一部分。
合并的情况下，重要的是由各公司的专业团队审查两家公司的重大资产。尽职审查过程中有时会进行两个步骤，一个初级的初步分析是确认信息，更多的该信息详情可在公共区域查阅，并广泛审查将要收购的所有资产。
