A clean energy hydrogen private infrastructure investment fund has been launched (Fund). The Fund is aimed at delivering clean hydrogen infrastructure projects and the co-founder has stated that they aim to raise EUR1 billion from financial and industrial investors and has already received EUR300 million from publicly announced investment intentions. The Fund is being launched on the back of many countries pledging to ‘decarbonise’ with many of these governments adopting national hydrogen strategies. The Fund will finance large scale projects in the production, storage and distribution of clean hydrogen energy primarily in the OECD countries.
