根据《上市规则》第18.09条规定，矿业公司拟议收购或出售资产，该等资产全部或大部分为矿业或石油资产，且该交易为关连交易的一部分，则须遵守《上市规则》有关须予公布的交易及关连交易的规定，并且被期望发布有关拟议交易的公告。
矿业公司须就资源及/或作为须予公布交易一部分的对资源的收购或出售制作一份合资格人士报告，该报告须为相关通函的一部分。
重大（或以上）收购的情况下（由须予公布的交易所占百分比决定，发行人须就有关须予公布交易的一部分的被收购矿业或石油资产出示一份估值报告作为相关通函的一部分。
根据《上市规则》，矿业公司须在中期（半年度）报告及年度报告中包含勘探、开发及矿业生产活动的详情，并总结该等活动在报告期间产生的开支。如果没有勘探、开发及生产活动，这一事实必须注明。
根据《上市规则》，矿业公司必须在其按照公认报告标准拟定的年度报告中包括其资源量及/或储备量的更新。
