Canadian entrepreneur Rob McEwen said he is contemplating various financing routes for his Los Azules project in Argentina, hinting at a potential initial public offering (IPO) as early as November. Although McEwen Copper Inc. has funding secured for the project into next year, it is exploring the possibility of an IPO in late 2023 or early 2024. This potential IPO is anticipated to raise between $100 million and $150 million for an upcoming feasibility study. However, another round of private financing remains on the table, as revealed by McEwen and copper unit chief Michael Meding. The firm aims to complete the study by early 2025 and intends to commence copper production by the end of the decade.
