Artemis Gold has reportedly obtained a permit from Fisheries and Oceans Canada for in-stream construction work for its Blackwater project in central British Columbia. The authorisation paves the way for the company to build essential infrastructure, including water diversion structures and dams in Davidson Creek Valley. With a target to pour the first gold in the second half of 2024, the project is one of the province’s largest gold mines, delivering 321,000 ounces annually for the first five years and 339,000 ounces per year thereafter.
