The founding members of the Komatsu Greenhouse Gas Alliance will work together with the original equipment manufacturer with the aim to plan, develop, test and deploy the next generation of mining equipment which is said to be zero-emission. The partnership will market leaders to work together for the development of zero-emission solutions and will aim to expand the partnership. Komatsu, aims to minimise environmental impact and targets a 50% reduction in CO2 emissions from the use of its products and production by 2050. Additionally, Komatsu aims to be carbon neutral by 2050.
