Andrada Mining, a UK-based mining company operating in Namibia, reached a historic high of tin-in-concentrate production in Q1 2023, marking a 42% year-on-year increase from 152 to 216 tonnes. There was also a 50% surge in tin concentrate from 239 to 339 tonnes in the period ending 31 May, compared to the same period last year. The record is credited to its processing plant’s boosted efficiency, which saw a 36% rise in processing rates compared to the previous year.
