Rio Tinto has increased its stake in the Citadel joint venture (Citadel JV). The increased stake in the Citadel JV is due to Rio Tinto solely funding in excess of US$25 million in the joint venture’s gold-copper project. The Citadel JV has further drilling activities at the Calibre and Magnum gold-copper deposits. This Citadel JV project is based in Paterson Province of Western Australia.
The drilling program will focus on the magnum dome of the project which area hosts the caliber and magnum gold-copper-silver reserves.
